Celebrate Sochi with Cloud Doodle!

It’s crunch time at the Sochi 2014 Olympics and we’re excited for the events going down this week and next! The Canadian Olympic Team has been doing us proud in all of the events.

Here’s our Top 5 Olympic Must See list for the rest of the games!

5. Closing Ceremonies
(Feb 23rd)
Who doesn’t love the closing ceremonies? Once all of the games wrap up, we celebrate all of our international friends in the global community for fantastic sportsmanship and teamwork.

4. Curling Womens & Mens Gold Medal Games
(8:30am on Feb 20th and 21st)

Both the Womens and Mens Canadian teams are in the running for the gold medal. The Mens team needs to take out China in their semifinal match this Wednesday in order to advance, and Womens is up against Great Britain the same day. Both could potentially be facing Sweden in the finals!

3. Figure Skating - Womens Free Skate
(10am on Feb 19th)

Figure skating is one of Canada’s Winter Olympic claims to fame. So far, our figure skaters have been taking home a lot of silver medals, so fingers crossed that we may snag the gold. Either way, chances are likely that we’ll end up on the podium.

2. Women’s Hockey Gold Medal Game
(12pm on Feb 20th)

The Women’s Hockey Team has made it to the gold medal game, facing off against the USA, just like the Olympics four years ago in Vancouver!

1. Men’s Hockey Gold Medal Game
(7am on Feb 23rd)

If the Canadian Men’s Team makes it through the semi finals game, they’ll be facing USA head to head in a repeat of the last Winter Olympics four years ago. We won that one, so fingers crossed that our boys will take home the gold again this year!

No matter what the results of the games are, we’re proud of our country and all of our talented althletes representing us in Sochi!

Go Canada Go!
